Sandra Hopps
Sandy has had over 20 years in the financial planning industry and strives to provide professional financial advice, technical expertise and excellent client service. Sandy is a Certified Financial Planner, an internationally recognised qualification accepted for having the highest education and ethical standards in financial planning.
Her aim is to remove the complexities around financial advice for her clients, so they have peace of mind.
Sandy is married to Cameron and they have 2 beautiful boys, Hamish and Jack. Sandy loves spending quality time with her family.
Shirley McPherson
Shirley works with Sandy on the technical side of the business and helps with putting together the reports and forms required to carry out our technical advice.
Shirley has a high level of strategic advice and organisational skills, ensuring our practice maintains our high standard of service.
Shirley has worked in the financial services industry since 1983, and we are lucky to have her vast experience in our business.
Lian Stahlhut
Lian commenced with Strategic Planners in March 2025, with significant experience in managing workflow and processes.
Lian is likely to be the person contacting you to make appointments and follow up with the documents required to ensure your planning needs are kept on track.
Libby Gleeson
Libby brings extensive experience as a paraplanner with Strategic Planners, having worked in financial planning, stockbroking, and banking since 1987. Her expertise in research and analysis supports the development of tailored financial strategies that align with clients’ unique goals.
With a deep understanding of financial markets and regulations, Libby ensures advisors are supported in delivering informed and compliant advice. Her commitment to staying updated on industry trends and products helps Strategic Planners provide exceptional service and achieve the best outcomes for clients.
